Effective November 1, 2026
These terms cover your use of canonsburgbites.com (“Canonsburg Bites”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or making an account, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to make an account. Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and don't make accounts for other people or more than one for yourself. You're responsible for what's posted from your account.
What you post
Reviews, ratings, tips, photos and spot submissions should be honest and based on your own experience. Please don't post:
- Fake reviews, or reviews you were paid or rewarded to write.
- Reviews of a business you own, work for or compete with.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or personal information about others.
- Anything illegal, sexually explicit, or spam.
- Photos or text you don't have the right to share.
We may edit, hide or remove anything that breaks these rules or that we think doesn't belong on the site, and we may suspend accounts that keep breaking them. New spots are reviewed before they go live, and we may decline them.
Who owns what
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you give Canonsburg Bites a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, reproduce and share it on the site and in our related content, such as our social media accounts and videos, with credit to your username where practical. The license ends when you delete the post, except for copies already shared or in backups.
The site's design, logo and our own content belong to Canonsburg Bites. Some listing data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors.
Reviews are opinions
Reviews and tips are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not of Canonsburg Bites, and listing a business isn't an endorsement. We don't accept payment for reviews or rankings. We try to keep details like hours and addresses accurate, but they can change, so check with the business before you go.
For business owners
If information about your business is wrong, or you believe a review breaks these rules, email canonsburgbites@gmail.com. We won't remove honest reviews just because they're negative.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Canonsburg Bites isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of the site, or for what other users post.
Changes and ending your use
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and continuing to use the site means you accept it. You can stop using the site and ask us to delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
